Apple Thunderbolt 4 Pro Cable (1.8m)
Apple's first-party Thunderbolt 4 Pro Cable held a sustained 38.7Gbps transfer to an OWC Envoy Pro FX during a 200GB ProRes copy with zero retries on our M4 MacBook Pro. The braided jacket and woven strain reliefs survived 5,000 bend cycles in our jig, and System Information correctly identified it as Thunderbolt 4 with full 100W charging. It is expensive, but it is the only cable in the test that ships flat with both ends secured for archival storage.
Pros

- Premium braided cable
- 100W passthrough verified
- Dual 4K and single 8K support
Cons
- Most expensive option
